This hotel is centrally located to most of the attractions that Sault Sainte Marie have to offer, but BEWARE when booking your room.YOU may not get what you booked for.I have booked 2 rooms for 3 nights, 2 weeks in advanced at a non refundable rate for a king size room with a sofa bed overlooking the St. Mary's river and a Queen size bed with a sofa bed overlooking the river. I have received a confirmation letter through my E-mail that those 2 rooms have been reserved and confirmed. As we arrived in the hotel, Dave the reseptionist gave us 2 double beds instead. I have shown him my confirmation letter that we should get the above mention rooms but he said that those rooms are not available but he will adjust the room rate to the lowest rate of the 3 nights that we reserved . Mind you, the rate for the rooms mentioned above was higher than the double beds rate which we paid in advanced. So in reality,we got downgraded and even paid higher than the usual double bed rate . I wanted to cancel but we were already there.We wanted to enjoy our vacation, so we just stick with it. Don't expect Free continental breakfast here since they DO not provide it. They have restaurant on site called Bridge's restaurant. Their breakfast menu is good BUT avoid the Friday Prime rib buffet. It is overpriced and the food is not good. Most of the time there's no one there to serve/cut the prime rib. Overall...The hotel is in good location but I would not go back there again.
