Everything You Can Expect From Disney
Review From: NexTag Editorial Review, Jun 9, 2008
As what you would expect from a Disney
property, the Walt Disney World Dolphin
upholds the company standards. This
has not always been the case. The bad
news is that this property was in need
of renovation for several seasons. The
good news is that Disney came through
with much-needed repairs and upgrades.
The rooms are large and accommodating
and children seem to enjoy the
ambiance. The location is within a 5-
minute drive to most parks and
attractions. If you are not driving,
schedule a reasonable amount of time
for traveling on the resort buses.
Whether you shell out the extra dollars
or they are for free, upgrades make a
noticeable difference. Most likely,
you will be happy with a standard room;
however, there is something to be said
about the "extras" that make a vacation
memorable.
Remember to budget money for parking
(there is no free parking), resort
fees, and room charges. These can
easily run over $40/day.
