Individually Owned Villas Are Hit or Miss
Review From: NexTag Editorial Review, Jun 9, 2008
Villas by the Sea, located in 17 acres of lush foliage, is a collection of condominium-style units perfect for guests who desire more space than a typical hotel room can provide. The 20 buildings offer 150 villas with one to three bedrooms. Because the villas are individually owned, the decor and styles may differ dramatically. But typically, the units feature tropical motifs of bright colors and floral designs. Some units are more worn out than others, and not all provide ocean views. All villas include kitchens with microwaves, refrigerators, and coffeemakers. Telephones, data ports, and televisions with VCRs are also included. Villas by the Sea features a wide variety of outdoor activities including golfing, fishing, horseback riding, and tennis. Shuffleboard, volleyball, badminton, and other games are also available. Guests can lounge at the large outdoor pool or relax on the beach. The beach is often unavailable, though, due to high tides. The compound's surrounding area also offers many worthwhile attractions. Both the Historic District and the Tidelands Nature Center are two miles away. A fishing pier is located one mile away. All in all, while the units can be hit or miss, Villas by the Sea is a great alternative for large families or those who want the luxury of more space.
