A Decent Value for the Cost-Conscious
Review From: NexTag Editorial Review, Jun 9, 2008
When my sister and I decided to spend a three-day weekend in Las Vegas (we're from Los Angeles, so it's a quick flight), we needed to go on a budget. And we'd both been to Vegas before, so we knew what was out there. We found a great package deal for the Treasure Island, so we went for it. To start with the positive, the TI is a very good hotel on the north end of the strip. No, it's not very central, but you can get everywhere on the monorail, which we loved. It was like a ride at Disneyland. Anyway, our room was nice and very clean. Room service was excellent. But the insulation is bad, meaning you can hear people in the hall and in other rooms. Bummer. And the weekend we were there, the hotel itself seemed to be filled with a convention for small children! There were kids (families) everywhere. I have no idea why. Maybe they were attracted to low package prices as well? Anyway, back to the positive: Las Vegas is always great for delicious, cheap food - where else in the world can you get a steak and lobster dinner for under $10? We did spoil ourselves one night by going to The Mesa at Caesar's. Amazing food, fantastic atmosphere. Better than anything in L.A., that's for sure. We didn't go to any shows - we just cruised around and people-watched at night. We spent a lot of time in the TI's spa, and it was nice. Overall, it was a blast. If I go back to Vegas, I might spend a little more money on a different, newer hotel. Those thin walls are a big drawback.

If You Want to Party, Stay at the TI!
Review From: Aaron, Jun 9, 2008
We just had a three-day bachelors' weekend for my best bud, who's getting married in one month. The TI at the Mirage has just the right atmosphere for us. It's got kind of a "young" air to it - lots of people partying and having fun, and not a lot of couples with children. Not a lot of grandparents to speak of, either. The rooms are huge and rather high-end, which was great. The casino was a blast, and Kahunaville was a blast. Great drinks, awesome bartenders. We checked out Tangerine too, but it was a little heavy on the rap. Overall, a great three days. Perfect way to bid farewell to our soon-to-be-hitched pal.

Excellent service and hospitality
Review From: Monty, Jun 9, 2008
Once you get past the cheesy "Spice Girls" meets thet Pirates show that they replaced the original Pirate show with, the TI is wonderful. We got a great room for our anniversary via the TI's web site. Upon arrival they upgraded our room since it was our anniversary which was unexpected and nice. The staff was very friendly and patient. The room they put us in was an upgrade from the Petite suite to the Tower suite (both had Jacuzzi tubs). I swear this room was only 200 - 300 Sq. Ft. smaller than our 3 bedroom house. It was AMAZING. We were able to go to the opening night of their new buffet Dishes which has a very nice spread of food with many choices including a Sushi bar (Which put me in heaven) as well a a top notch staff of friendly and fast hosts. We left on a Sunday and got snowed in past Primm and decided to turn back to Vegas for one more night. I called the TI reservation number off the key card still in my pocket and they got us into a Executive Suite (Per my request for a jacuzzi tub... not to be missed.) on the 34th floor which had an amazing view of the strip. Overall, staying at the TI was the best Vegas experience I have ever had.

Hotel is very nice
Review From: tag, Jun 9, 2008
Treasure Island is a very nice hotel. And whats even better is the rooms are also nice and inexspensive. I frequent vegas often but I had never stayed there. I always associated the hotel with children like circus circus. But there wasnt an excessive amount of children, and I really had a good time
