Exhilarating!!!!!

My family and my husband's family has stayed at this hotel for over 30 years. The only fault we found was no hot-tub. Which they could turn that hospitality room (which I have seen used once in all the years we have been going) into a hot-tub room or video arcade room. The office people are great, and my paying a little more for the gulf-view is well worth it. I have seen some of the most awesome lighting storms, radiant sunsets and just laughed in general at the Saturday night antics of the strip revelers. Being within walking distance of all the shops, restaurants and the marina is a plus in itself. Ernie

This Hotel Isn't Worth It

We spent two days at the Clearwater Beach Travelodge and decided that this place wasn't worth it. The hotel is located on the not-so-nice southern end of the beach and is separated from the ocean by a busy road and a public parking lot. It has only four floors and very few of its rooms face the ocean. Our room was clean and average in size. However, its bathroom was very small but well maintained. They charge separately for the safe in room, whether you use it or not. The elevator in the hotel was very small. We moved out of this hotel at the first available opportunity. I suggest that you spend a few extra dollars on a better hotel.
