Romantic and practical

A romantic weekend was planned for our anniversary, 980 miles from our new home, and it started at the little tucked away, Travel Lodge, at The Presideo, San Francisco, with dining, shopping and bar-hopping just around the corner. The morning came too soon, but with the clickety clack sound of heels climbing Lombard hill and the early morning smell of espresso wafting through our open window, we were up and ready to join the bohemians at the coffee bar next door, pronto! My husband's gift of two dozen roses were eagerly assisted by our hosts at the lodge desk, lending us a vase and water to sustain the blooms during our stay. Thanks to the great location of your lodge and the wonderful service, we celebrated our anniverary in an exciting and leisurely manner, and will be back someday soon.
