Nice hotel, but added charges to my card without notifying me

Nice hotel, but I was told the pet fee ($24 total) was waived & given a receipt for room sans pet fee, but when I checked my bank statement, pet fee had been charged to me. Bad business, especially for a frequent repeat customer.
