Over-rated!

We thought this would be a nice resort to stay in while we took a mini vacation to San Antonio. We have been pleased with other Westins before. We've been to the Westin in Providence, RI and Houston, TX and had a wonderful time there. However, I cannot say this about the Westin La Cantera Resort. We were extremely disappointed on so many levels. The main complaint we have is with the customer service. As soon as we drove up the bell man looked like he could not be bothered with us. He told us he would have the bags in our room "waiting" for us, all we had to do was check in. After we came to our room and waited for 30 minutes for the bags to arrive, we called the front desk. They asked us several times to describe them, so we did. Finally, my husband went downstairs and talked to the original bell man who took our bags. My husband reminded him that we had been waiting for an hour, the bell man said, "yes, I know, I took your bags". He was very rude. After waiting 2 hours we finally got our bags. They just gave us a weak apology and said they put the bags in someone else's room. We understand that mistakes happen, however, how it was handled was very poorly. We expected better for a resort like this.
