Convenient Boardwalk and Beach Location but Bring Plenty of Cash

Built in 2001, the Stowaway Grand Hotel is one of the newer Ocean City options. Located on the Boardwalk, the hotel provides easy access to all the local attractions, including the beach right outside its doors. The city's many shops and restaurants are just around the corner. Guests can easily walk to the area's two amusement parks or the convention center located 20 blocks away. The hotel features 251 guest rooms with a number of amenities. All rooms offer private balconies with views of the ocean. Cable television, refrigerators, microwaves, and coffeemakers are also included. The rooms do offer air-conditioning, but the air conditioners tend to be loud and make a lot of noise. The hotel offers an indoor pool and an outdoor pool with pool bar. Restaurants, retail shops, and a pizza parlor are also located on site, but one downside is that these establishments only accept cash. Guests who wish to pay by credit card are out of luck. Overall, the Stowaway Grand Hotel is a comfortable and convenient place to stay for guests visiting the Boardwalk.
