Beautiful facility with excellent service.

Entering the hotel you are met by a feeling of peacefulness and tranquility despite the bustle of the outside. The rooms are well appointed with wonderful feather pillows and thick, comfy Ritz robes--felt like we were at home. Beautifully decorated, the flower arrangements were something out of Veranda magazine. Additionally, we always felt perfectly safe, even though we were in the middle of the city. The staff seems to instinctively know who is a guest and who is not, so not just anyone can walk in. Try the Gulf Shrimp and Scallops in Victor's--to die for! Had the best Cosmopolitan of my life in the Lobby Lounge. This is how everyone should experience the Big Easy; we could live in this hotel.
