Convenient to Disney World but Located Next to Noisy Highway

Ideal for families visiting Walt Disney World, the Homewood Suites Orlando-Walt Disney World Resort offers suite-style living at an affordable price. Guests who are visiting Disney World do not have to worry about transportation, as the hotel's complimentary shuttles offer rides to the Disney Transportation Center. Aside from Disney attractions, which are about a mile away, the hotel is also close to the Celebration Golf Club and Orlando Premium Outlet Mall. The Water Mania water park is located only half a mile from the hotel. A variety of shops and restaurants are also available in nearby Old Town. The hotel consists of seven townhouse buildings that offer 156 suites. The suite sizes range from one to three bedrooms but all suites contain full kitchens and living areas. The kitchens include two-burner ranges, refrigerators, microwaves, and cookware. Each suite offers two televisions and two VCRs, one in the bedroom and one in the living room. The decor is tropical, with pastel colors and green carpeting. Guests can lounge by the hotel's freeform pool or relax in the hot tub. Picnic tables and grills are also available for guests to have their own barbeques. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but a complimentary breakfast buffet is served each morning. One downside is the hotel's close proximity to a major highway. Traffic noise from cars and trucks can be heard from the hotel at all hours. This is the tradeoff for the hotel's budget rates and convenient location.
