Ruined is right
Review From: Biz Traveller, Jun 9, 2008
What a disaster, one of the most comfortable hotels has been ruined. The room was dark, had only one "couch like thing" (stained) and no other chairs. The desk area was a joke, definitely not for business travellers. The desk chair was impossible to sit in and work on a laptop. When I tried to work at the desk, the flat screen TV was about 12 inches from my head. I have stayed there since 1995, but never again. What a mess.

They have Ruined the Rihga!
Review From: John, Jun 9, 2008
What has been my favorite hotel in New York for the past 14 years has now been virtually destroyed by the new owners. The newly named London Nyc is sure to be a shock to long-time Rihga devotees who basked in the wonderful suites and great amenities. Now, you are treated to rooms with no closets (just open shelving units with narrow drawers), no more ice-makers, uncomfortable and sparse living room furniture, new high-tech phones that light up the entire room at night, no more tubs, no towel bars in the bathrooms, inadequate lighting in the suite, no bathroom doors etc. etc. It is tragic to see a once great hotel made-over into a high-tech mess. I still cannot believe that someone truly feels that these renovated suites are in any way an improvement. Truly upsetting experience
