The majestic Lake Louise and the Chateau to go along w/ it

If you're looking for a place to go for a romantic and relaxing getaway, you should try "Chateau Lake Louise." They have different types of rooms. We've stayed there twice and tried different rooms each time. The first room was larger with jacuzzi tub, hill side view. The second room was a bit smaller(European size) but clean, facing the magnificent Lake Louise. The room with lake view was expensive but we enjoyed every minute of it. The best view is from the lounge area and the Fairview Dining room. Make sure to book your dinner reservation upon check in or earlier to get the best available time. We always booked our dinner reservation before sun down so we can enjoy the lake while having dinner. Since it's a high class restaurant, gentlemen are required to wear a jacket. If you don't bring a jacket, don't worry, they have them available as you enter the restaurant. Ladies if you miss the mall while you're there, don't worry, you'll be able to spend your money at the hotel's little mall (down on the basement and lobby area). Hotel staff and service were excellent. The hotel offer valet parking. If you have time, take a hike to Lake Agnes Tea House. It's really peaceful up there. The only thing was the tea house closed by the time we got up there. So make sure and check with the concierge as to what time the tea house closes. Also check with concierge on the trail condition. The last time we went hiking, we were warned of a bear. Overall experience at the Chateau was excellent. We're going back there this fall. Enjoy your stay.
