Objects Get Stolen!
Review From: Kutanya, Jun 9, 2008
My stay at this hotel was going great
until the last night. My bottle of
perfume (Estee Lauder Beyond Paradise)
was stolen from my locked hotel room.
Only the hotel staff had a key to the
room other than my boyfriend. The
bottle was stolen sometime after the
morning I used it and before I
returned to my room that evening.
When I reported the incident, the
staff was pretty much indifferent.
They made a cursory search of the room
and said they did not find it. Then,
went to help the next customer. The
general manager was also indifferent.
He suggested that maybe a member of my
own party took it and then said that I
could be lying. He then said that the
hotel was not liable for stolen
objects. When I asked where that
information was posted, he told me at
the attorney general's office.
The Better Business Bureau has stated
that this particular hotel does not
respond to any complaints that the
Bureau has brought to their
attention. Do not go to this hotel if
you value your belongings!!!
