Palm Springs Casino Resort Seems a Bit Dated
Review From: Angela, Jun 9, 2008
A work buddy and I decided to treat ourselves to four days in Palm Springs. We did a little research, and found a cheap package deal for four days/three nights at the Spa Resort Casino. The pictures looked good, and the amenities sounded great. When we checked in, the desk attendant was very nice. He gave us a ton of coupons for the casino. But neither of us are gamblers, so we didn't even use those. Our room was two queen-size beds, and they were perfectly nice. That was the thing about this resort. It was all perfectly nice, but nothing spectacular. It had a big new casino, a bunch of restaurants, a beauty salon, and more. But I've seen fancier casinos in Vegas. I guess you get what you pay for. We did use the spa's gym facilities, and we each splurged on a personal trainer one day. That was fun, and we learned a lot from our trainers. Then we went out to the pool, but it was a little disappointing. Online, it says that it's "Olympic-size," but that is definitely not the case. It's nice enough, though. Overall, this was a nice resort. But I think if you're going to vacation at a casino, you should be a gambler. If you're not, there's not a lot else to do.
