The Holiday Inn Miami Beach has a wonderful setting. It's easily reachable and not very far from the main beach. It was a comfortable getaway for me, my wife, and the kids. The main part of the beach is around five miles away from the hotel. We were at the beach almost every day, surfin', strollin', and basically having a blast. This trip was more like a surfing safari for us. Our rooms at the Holiday Inn had king-size beds and were tidy and well-kept. The hotel pool was really small (but hey, who needs a pool when there's a great beach nearby?!). The room also had huge closets and I mean really big! The staff at the hotel was cordial and friendly. The only thing you need to watch out for, if you plan to stay here, is parking. It has a one way in and out parking, which leads into a busy street. There aren't many good places to eat near the hotel. However, our trip was memorable and we didn't have any problems at the hotel, so I'm satisfied.
