A Decent Value in Beautiful Sarasota
Review From: Angela, Jun 9, 2008
If you're headed to Sarasota for a vacation, but don't want to spend a lot of money, the Best Western Siesta Beach might be a good choice. And its rack rate is rather high, so I'd say it's a good value only if you can get a cheap package deal. Which I did. My husband and I stayed there with our three children, ages 5, 6, and 9, last May. It was a nice enough room, and we had two queen beds and a roll-out couch. But now I wish we had gotten a suite. It would have been bigger, and also would have had a Jacuzzi and a small kitchen. The beautiful Siesta Beach is about a two-minute walk away, and there are also a lot of cute shops and restaurants nearby. We had a good time walking around and exploring, and even the kids talked about how beautiful the town was. The hotel also has a pool, but it was very small. We spent all of our "water time" at the beaches in the area. The kids found a lot of sea shells, and we all loved the beautiful white sand. For a young family like ours, the Best Western is a great deal. It's clean and professionally run. And its location is great.
