Noisy Hotel but Worthwhile Location

The Marriott Savannah Riverfront is located in lively downtown Savannah by the Riverfront. It is within walking distance of the Historic District and its many museums and galleries. Worthwhile attractions include the Savannah Theatre and Andrew Low House. Guests can stroll along the Riverwalk to River Street, where over 68 specialty shops and restaurants are located. The Marriott's eight-story building houses 373 spacious guest rooms. All rooms feature cable television, coffeemakers, hair dryers, and ironing boards. High-speed Internet access is available as well for a fee. The walls are somewhat thin so noise does travel. Noise from bar and pool area also can travel up the hotel atrium to the rooms. The hotel offers an outdoor pool as well as an indoor pool and spa tub. Despite noise concerns, the Marriott Savannah Riverfront is a good choice for tourists due to its convenient Riverfront location.
