We enjoyed our yearly vacation in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. On this particular vacation we decided to stay at the Sands Ocean Club Resort. This resort is very clean and the staff is friendly. The resort has just undergone a renovation and the place is looking fabulous. The exterior of the building has been freshly painted and the elevators have been redesigned. Our room smelled clean and new. There's plenty of free parking at the resort. Staying here was fun, as the beach is just a few steps away from the hotel. We skipped the hotel's pools in favor of the beautiful beach. We loved visiting Ocean Annie's Beach bar, and we enjoyed gazing at the lazy river flowing near the hotel. The music at the beach bar was good but quickly became repetitively boring. Food at the ocean-facing restaurant was expensive and average in taste. Nonetheless, this is a beautiful resort that we can't wait to visit again. Hopefully the restaurant will have improved by the time we go back. We will be back next year.
