This all-suite resort is such a great concept for traveling families like mine that I wish they would do more to fix it up. Nonetheless, staying in a big two-bedroom two-bath condo on the beach is wonderful when you're in Myrtle Beach, especially when you're traveling withyoung children. This resort also puts a lot of effort into its "Kids Club" activities, which take place day and night. Our kids (seven and nine years old) love them, and are already clamoring to go back! The hotel also has two pools, one indoor and one outdoor, which are sometimes preferable over the beach. The rooms themselves are indeed older, and we had an AC unit that was a bit temperamental. The Sands Beach Club Resort restaurant is not that great, although they do have a good breakfast buffet, which we enjoyed each day. Otherwise, we went to some of the great restaurants nearby. I am a golfer too, and that is a big reason we visit Myrtle Beach each year. Overall, we were happy with this resort, especially because of the great price package we got. So I'm giving it three stars. I just wish they would invest in the upgrades it needs. We may be back next year.
