As part of the 2,400-acre Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, the Hilton Sandestin provides access to the resort's 15 tennis courts and four 18-hole golf courses. The tennis courts offer clay, grass, or hard surfaces as well as instructors for beginners. The championship golf courses include the Links, Baytowne, Burnt Pine, and the 6,900-yard, par 71 Raven. Located between Choctawhatchee Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, the Hilton Sandestin overlooks the beaches and provides beautiful views. Many shopping opportunities exist in the area, including Destin Commons and Silver Sands Factory Stores - the country's largest designer outlet center. Just 10 miles west lies the city of Destin, famous for its deep-sea fishing. This all-suites hotel features 600 suites in 15-story and seven-story towers. All suites include furnished balconies, refrigerators, microwaves, and high-speed Internet access. The junior suites are family-oriented and feature a children's bunk bed area while the executive suites cater to the business traveler and include views of the gulf. The sliding doors of the balconies are loud and the furniture could use updating, but otherwise, the suites are in good condition. Hotel facilities include a private beach, two freeform outdoor pools, one indoor pool, and a health spa. Business services include 32,000 square feet of meeting space with a business center and a ballroom. Overall, the Hilton Sandestin is a good choice for experiencing the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort.

Sandestin beach front hotel is maintained well, no renovation needed, bed linens are high-end, housekeeping is a step ahead of you, fresh fruit in the lobby(great oranges!!), restaurant tastes good & the beach/pool towel service is just icing on the cake! We stayed here twice this year with each visit seemless in the service. The only downfall is the accounting department because I had to call 4 times to resolve my bill.

Overpriced for the service received. Our room was in an advanced stage of mold. Windows were dirty. Food served to our room cold and overcooked. Restaurant in lobby indifferent and poorly managed - we had to wait an hour to be seated. We don't mind paying an extra price for good service, good food, and well tended drinks - but this place had none of that. Oh yes - when you check out - be wary of all the hidden costs and duplicate charges. This place could be a four star hotel if properly managed - right now I wouldn't even give it a 1 star.

Beautiful grounds. Gorgeous beach. Opportunities for biking, kayaking, and nearby outlet shopping. Biggest disappointment was the room at Westwinds. When we booked the room 3 months in advance, we were asked where we would like to be. We requested floors 3-6 to get beach views, and this was supposedly entered in computer. When we checked in, we were told that the facility was very full, and the only room available was a first floor handicapped suite. No beach view, and relatively expensive. Maid service inconsistent. We would not choose to stay there again.
