hotel needs work

We stayed at this hotel at the end of june, 2004. We were very disappointed. The hotel is nothing to look at and the the outside is in need of facial repairs. The lobby though nice was extremely noisy and crowded when we arrived and many people were irate because their room was not ready. Ours was ready, but a big disappointment. It really could use an overhaul, especially the bathroom. We asked for a change, but was told not possible because they were very crowded. The pool is not as big as it looked in pictures. And it seemed 1/2 of it is a children's pool and the other half had a volley ball game going on, so it wasn't really usable. The swim up bar was closed. The beach is nice, but not much shade. I would not recommend this hotel.
