For families and not couples!

~You are not told that the facilites are shared between 2 complexes (Occidental Allegro and Tamlet). This means you have about 1300-1700 (not the 900 advertised) all trying to used the same facilities.~If you go on holiday to lay around the pool, it is advisable to get up at 5.00am to put your towels out. I didn't want to do this but as they say "if you can't beat them join them". I waited until 7.00am one morning and they were all gone. ~If you are a family then this would be the resort for you...they are VERY children centred which can be at the expence of the adults in the evening...they have ~5bars (4outside) and only 2 are eve open (1 inside)and once on 1 was open until 9pm and then closed at 11.30pm. ~rooms were good, smaller than pictures shown but clean. ~food in the buffet returant got a bit 'samey'...they do have 4 A La Carte restaurants but these have to be booked the day before and you can only go to them once (again you would be advised to join the Q at 9.30-9.45am for this booking procedure in the tea/chicha tent next to the pizzaria and drugstore) ~I would not say value for money. ~YOU MUST VISIT MARRAKESH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ~When buying things outside of the resort haggle (only if you really want it and it is not priced already)...start at just under half price and hover around that region...they will still be making profit and so you may want to go lower.
