Upscale Hotel Reflects in Style and Price
Review From: editorialreviews@nextag.com, Jun 9, 2008
"Hotel Crescent Court is a place made for spending, whether on the luxury room rates or The Shops and Galleries of the Crescent, of which the hotel serves as anchor. Fortunately, for the most part, guests get what they pay for. The lodging, part of the Rosewood properties, has made it on many a Conde Nast traveler list, whether for its spa or on its own merits.
The 191 rooms vary in size from 350 to 625 square feet, and have French doors, elegant bathrooms offering the very popular Lady Primrose toiletries line, and comfortable linens. Internet access is also available. Some guests have found the rooms comfortable but not quite worth the high rates, although others find the price worth it when counting the professional service and the beautiful lobby and gardens. Staff at the hotel proper, from valet to concierge, have won kudos, while the eateries and spa reception sometimes have occasional performance glitches. Room service is 24 hours and food is served on carts. Certainly the fitness center is fabulous, with plenty of cardio machines and weight equipment. Guests can dip in the outdoor pool.
A courtesy car can be reserved. A drive to the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport generally takes about a half-hour."
