I just got back from a visit to the beach at Wilmington, NC at the Ramada Inn. Let me start with the fact the hotel has no elevator, so you have to lug all your stuff up stairs if you're on the 2nd floor. The bathrooms have dull florescent lights that don't illuminate the bathrooms adequately. Take a shower, and there's no cold water but plenty of hot! So needless to say its easy to scorch yourself if you're not careful. The hotel ran out of towels, and I was told to come down to the desk if I wanted 2 towels that just happened to be behind the front desk. Call housekeeping and I was told I had to wait, if I wanted more towels??!! Oh, and let's not forget the TV which only got 7 channels out of the 50 promised. And to top it all off they have ROACHES!!! So stay here only if you like scalding hot showers in dull bathrooms, drying off with dirty towels, and static on your TV.
