Good Location, but Run-Down Hotel
Review From: Angela, Jun 9, 2008
The Radisson Hotel Boston is 30 or 40 years old. And it's showing its age. It's not in horrible shape, but just not great. And the rooms are pretty standard-issue. Each has a little dinky coffee maker, and it would be inexpensive for them to provide something more full-size. The bathrooms are very basic, and the hotel's gym is quite small. And the hotel's restaurant is very disappointing. Go to one of the restaurants nearby instead, because there are a lot of good ones. It's too bad Radisson has let this hotel go so far downhill. The hotel's location is excellent, though, so that cancels out some of my disappointment. The other nice thing is the hotel's staff. They were great, and very helpful. One gal confided in me that I "had" to visit Filene's Basement, as I'd never been there before. She gave me directions. I did go, and found a great pair of pants. I hope Radisson updates this hotel soon. It's got a lot of potential.
