Would not visit again
We expected much more than what we found. Because its the "water park of America" and they claim to be the biggest, we were expecting to find a "huge' water park, but instead it was actually rather small. Valley Fair has a much bigger water park.
Check in for the hotel was not until 4pm which means if you're bringing little ones, you don't have much time. You also had to check out by 11am, which is normal, and you could stay until 4pm the following day in the water park if you wanted.
We paid $244 for a room that slept 6. For what we got I didn't feel it was worth it. The beds were uncomfortable and the rooms too hot. Not enough pillows and blankets.
The restaurant had nice decor, but the food overpriced. Most of the staff there did not seem to know much - perhaps maybe because they had only been open two weeks when we visited. I just had the impression that they were not trained in well enough before open. They dropped and broke things four times during our dinner.
Some of the lifeguards did not look to be much older than 12-13 - kind of wondered about that...
The decor was not bad but did not give that warm feeling - I expected a much more woodsy look, perhaps with some knotty pine or something similar.
Regardless - you would be better off just visiting for a day and staying with friends or in another hotel.
