Good Place for a Budget Traveler

I was passing through Santa Barbara a couple of months ago and stayed at the Quality Inn because I was on a budget. The rates were pretty reasonable when I compared it to some of the other hotels. The Quality Inn is definitely not the most luxurious place out there, but it's a good value for your money. The motel was clean but the room was really small and the bathroom was even smaller. I have a big build and am quite tall so the bed wasn't as comfortable as I hoped it would be. Breakfast was sufficiently fulfilling. I had most of my other meals at some of the restaurants close by, so I can't really comment on the quality of the food at the motel. The staff was great. The location's another big plus; it's just a 5-minute drive into town. I didn't get a chance to check out the pool, but it looked inviting. This place is good if you're on a budget trip like I was.
