Management tries to get you to pay more to get the room you reserved on the internet

Management doesn't feel they make enough $ on internet reservations so they do not honor room requests -- non-smoking. They lie about availability, and then when called on it offer to let you pay more $ to get your requested room type. No concerns or accommodations for health problems- asthma that needs non-smoking rooms. If you get a low rate they will put you in a smoking room even if non-smoking was reserved and is available-- unless you are willing to pay them extra money for non-smoking!
