Bargain Lodgings Near Disneyland but a Little Noisy
Review From: Angela, Jun 9, 2008
We stayed at the Penny Sleeper last year when we took our sons on a spur-of-the-moment trip to Disneyland. I wanted to stay somewhere close to Disneyland, and didn't want to pay a lot, so this was what I found. We hadn't shopped ahead of time so we couldn't get any package deals at the big hotels. This hotel was fine, but it had its drawbacks. Thin walls, for one, so it was a noisy place. It's just off the freeway, and we listened to cars all night. The beds were not very comfortable, and the furniture is kind of old and beat up. But on the plus side, we had a microwave and a mini fridge in our room, so we were able to keep a lot of food on hand. And the hotel also has a great swimming pool, which we used a few times. Best of all, the hotel's staff is very helpful and friendly. They were always in a good mood, and they helped us get good prices on Disneyland tickets.
