If you're planning a getaway to the Niagara Falls, I'd advise you to stay away from the Park Plaza Niagara Falls. I was exerting myself a lot at work, so I thought that it would be a nice idea to take a vacation to the Niagara Falls for some relaxation. I booked a room at the Park Plaza Niagara Falls and paid for it in advance. I even confirmed about the booking of my hotel room before leaving for the vacation. But, to my utter disgust I found my room taken on reaching the hotel. Its staff was unable to give any proper explanation for this blunder. They requested me to shift to another room. I had no other option but to agree! This was just the beginning of the nightmare. The room in which I was checked in was unkept and dirty. Its carpet was stained and its toilet was overflowing. I was so put off by the whole incident that I decided to cancel my trip. I asked the hotel-manager for a refund, but he flatly refused. After much argument I let the manager have his way. I left the hotel the very next day and have sworn never to go back to this place. I travel a lot for work, but I've never come across such rude and inhospitable hotel staff ever.
