Better than we had imagined
Review From: Linda Pendlebury, Jun 9, 2008
The first impression was not too favourable when we were given 3 rooms on 11th floor and 2 rooms on 8th. I find it hard to believe that with over 3,000 rooms we could not have 5 together. This apart and allowing for the alterations that were taking place around the casino(which caused no problems at all to us) we had a fantastic stay. The rooms were newly decorated, spacious and clean. We didn't have a good view but we were usually too tired to notice anyway. The restaraunts were very good, 2 open 24/7 but the buffet was the best I have been to (I have been to LV before). Both breakfast and dinner could not be beaten, you could tell this by the people waiting, but never for long. The staff were also great, friendly and very efficient at supplying drinks and clearing away dishes. The only other comment I would make is that it would have been nice if there had been a bar where we could have sat together in an evening for a drink rather than on stools in the casino. Finally the dessert passage - this holds its own with many of the other casinos, in atmosphere, quality and the diverse types of shopping. In many ways it was much better than shall we say the more "designer" casinos as we all felt we could eat, browse and shop in comfort and not just window shop so to speak. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have no problems with recommending the Aladdin to anyone. Cheers from 10 tired but happy English ladies.
