Las Vegas with a French Accent
Review From: NexTag Editorial Review, Jun 9, 2008
When my boyfriend took me to Las Vegas for my birthday, he went all out and got us a room at the Paris. It was great! We almost over-dosed on Las Vegas (but we were only there for four days). We stayed on the concierge level, which was an extra $60 for the two of us. But we ended up eating there (for free) once or twice a day, which helped justify the added expense, especially since the staff on that level is so gracious and helpful. The restaurants in the hotel are crowded with lines all of the time, which we were definitely not in the mood for. Our room was great, with a gorgeous view of the city. While my husband golfed, I took full advantage of the Spa - I've now had every type of massage known to man. We only gambled a bit, fortunately. Instead we went to see some of the local attractions: We rented a car and drove to Hoover Dam, which was amazing, and we also went on the Stratosphere tour, the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay, the white tigers at the Mirage, and MGM Grand's lion exhibit. We also used the monorail system a lot, and it was like an attraction in itself. We had a fantastic, lively, romantic time on our trip. It was the perfect birthday gift.
