Value for your Money
Review From: Shyam, Jun 9, 2008
I'd highly recommend the Marriott New Orleans where I spent a weekend with a friend. The hotel is conveniently located at the edge of the French Quarter. It's a short distance away from Harrahs Casino, Decatur Street, Bourbon Street, and Garden District. We stayed on the 36th floor of the Marriott and our room had a great view of the river. The room was average in size and had a comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The lobby of this hotel was beautifully decorated and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only things that I disliked about this hotel were its parking charges and its unorganized parking area. Overall, this is a nice hotel and gives you value for your money.

An Elegant Hotel that Reflects New Orleans-Style Hospitality
Review From: Aaron Garcia, Jun 9, 2008
My wife joined me at the Marriott when I traveled to New Orleans for a recent business trip. We were very impressed with the architectural details in this spectacular hotel. It's obvious that Marriott made it a high priority to stay true to its original grand style when they renovated it. The hotel looks like one of the great old hotels of New Orleans, but it's got all of the amenities that modern travelers expect. My wife and I were very pleased with our room, and the hotel's restaurant is excellent. And the staff is first-rate. Our only complaint is that the walls of our room were rather thin, and we heard too much of our neighbors. Overall, though, a grand experience.
