Very disappointing.

We were very disappointed, indeed, with our stay at the Melia this year. The new "Nikki Beach" concept, in our opinion, has ruined the once perfect pool area. The "Nikki Beds" totally obstruct the beautiful view of the beach and the Sea of Cortez. In addition, the excessive price increases on food and drink forced us, as well as many, many other patrons, to go down the beach and into town for meals and beverages. In fact, the food selection at the Nikki Restaurant was poor indeed - one could not even order a simple burger or side of nachos. And, what happened to "Happy Hour" and those terrific bingo games? Unfortunately, because of all the changes made since last year, we will not be returning to the Melia. You had a fabulous resort - why was it changed?
