I celebrated Mother's Day with my mom at the Lover Key Beach Club & Resort. We had a great time at the resort. Our room on the ninth floor was beautiful, clean, and had a large oceanfront balcony. We loved watching the dolphins and the sunset from the balcony almost every day. Our bathroom was well maintained and had a Jacuzzi. We really appreciated having a kitchenette in our room for when we wanted to rustle up a midnight snack. The resort is located near Lovers Key State Park, which is absolutely fantastic. My mother and I loved kayaking and strolling along the white-sand beach. The staff was professional and helpful. The continental breakfast was average, but we enjoyed eating at Flippers, the on-site restaurant. Don't miss the tasty crab cakes served here. All in all, it's a very nice resort with a relaxed atmosphere. So if you're planning a get-away to Florida, give this resort a shot.
