Spectacular Resort in the Desert
Review From: PL, Jun 9, 2008
Palm Springs is not known for great hotels or restaurants, which is really a shame because of it's proximity to those of us in LA. By happenstance (a long story) I stumbled upon the Parker, and am I glad I did! From the moment you arrive and are greeted by an army of smiling faces the place is fab. The grounds are amazing, like a fantasy. The rooms are more like a quirky friend's home than a hotel. The spa is so cool, no pretense, but the best massage I have ever had. The 2 restaurants are amazing: Norma's made me forget that I don't really eat breakfast, such tasty takes on boring standbys. Mr. Parker's is this dark, fun, place with great French food. The pools are a fun scene. You'll see cool people, but no one is preaning. Don't miss this place.
