Pet-Friendly, People-Friendly Resort in a Beautiful Town
Review From: Angela, Jun 9, 2008
My husband and I have long enjoyed Myrtle Beach, and we have two sets of friends who love to go there with us. This year we decided to try the La Quinta Inn. It has a lovely location, and it's also got something for both of us. My husband, two of the men, and one of their wives, love to golf in Myrtle Beach, and the other wife and I are happy to go shopping. We love the Broadway at the Beach complex, because it's filled with great shops and restaurants. La Quinta bends over backwards to ensure that its guests have a great time while they're in Myrtle Beach. We never even rent a car. They have shuttle buses, and they're happy to drive guests anywhere they want to go. The hotel is very pet-friendly, and although we don't take our pets it's cute to see the other guests with their dogs. I even saw one woman who had her cat at check-in. The rooms are big and roomy, and we always get one with a big king-size bed. The mattress is always nice and firm. And housekeeping is great. They always clean our rooms thoroughly and quickly. This is a nice, quiet hotel, and I love that. Especially at night. It's a restful, calm place to go.
