Disappointing Stay During Our Disneyland Vacation
Review From: Aaron, Jun 9, 2008
I know that it's hard to run a hotel, and that customers can be very demanding. But a chain like La Quinta, which has an excellent formula and a good reputation as well, needs a much better-managed property than the one they've got in Anaheim. I'm in sales, and travel a lot. And I was shocked at the shoddy accommodations we found at the Disneyland La Quinta. The rooms were old and worn, the carpets frayed, the beds uncomfortable. And the pull-out couch was lumpy and uncomfortable for our son. The price of this hotel was low, but it's also a six-block walk to the park. Too far, especially at the end of a long, hot day. The La Quinta's front-desk staff was not at all customer-service oriented. Lastly, the included breakfast was a joke. Some kind of powdered egg product, as far as I could tell, and a few stale donuts. We were not at all impressed. This place is hurting La Quinta's reputation.
