We have stayed at this hotel for several years, and have always had excellent service. EXCEPT THIS TIME!!!The room we were given was trashy to say the least. There were crudely patched holes in the walls. The air conditioner did not work. The bathtub ran slow. The toilet leaked and the towel rack was hanging loose. In addition, we were right next to the outdoor patio bar, and loud music kept us awake most of the night. It was supposed to be a non smoking room, but there was the thick smell of tobacco smoke.When I asked for another room, I was not too politely told that there were no other rooms available, although the parking lot was nearly empty the whole week we were there.Our room was not cleaned for three days, and when I complained, I was told that they do not clean the rooms if there are guests in them, regardless of whether there is a 'do not disturb' sign on the door or not. It was not until I complained loud and long that someone was sent to clean the room. It was done in the sloppiest way possible. The room was prepaid for seven days through Expedia, and I checked out a day early because of the conditions. The manager refused to give me a copy of the bill. When I insisted on the copy, the manager got hostile with me. I can GUARANTEE you we WILL NEVER be staying at that hotel again!
