I stayed at this resort with my family and would recommend this place for a wonderful holiday experience. Initially we had booked an "island view" room but were not very satisfied with the room. So we upgraded to a room with a breathtaking ocean-view. Our room seemed to be in the process of renovation. It had a new carpet and its bathroom was redone with new shower flooring and a new sink. Overall the room and its bathroom were spotless and well decorated. The room service menu was basic but the service was excellent. The staff was gracious and accommodating. Although the nearby beach was not too great, it had plenty of water sports. We checked out the food at Gus's Restaurant but it was pretty bad. The restaurant did not have enough staff so service was slow. My husband enjoyed cocktails at a bar called Breezer's and had loads of fun indulging in all the adventurous water-sports readily available at the hotel. All my family members spent a memorable holiday at the Marriott resort.
