The Istanbul Hotel Sur is an old Ottoman house that was built 120 years ago, and last renovated in 2006. The hotel is near Istanbuls historical walls and has sea view. It is just five minutes walking distance away from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Underground Cistern, and Grand Bazaar. The hotel is surrounded by historic reminders of the Byzantine Empire. The Byzantine and Ottoman Monuments such as Saint Sophia and the Basilica Cistern are close by. Other cultural highlights including the Hippodrome, Turkish Carpet Museum, Spice Bazaar, Cemberlitas Hamami Turkish Bath, and the Ca alo lu Bath, are very easily reached on foot.
