Holiday Inn Needs To Revamp Itself
Review From: Mahua, Jun 9, 2008
My first impression of this hotel was that it was nothing much to write home about. The lobby looked run-down and uninviting. Contrary to its look, the front desk staff was very nice and accommodating. They saw to it that I comfortably checked into my room. After I stashed my luggage I hit the sack. The bed was comfortable and clean. It was then that I noticed, lying face up, that the room was a bit shabby, especially the faded wallpaper. The tables and chairs in the room were old and not very well maintained. The bathroom was clean except for a line of mold on its wall. The breakfast served was cold. I was told that I needed to upgrade by paying a few extra bucks for a hot breakfast, which was fine. It was refreshing to use the sauna at the hotel. I also liked the indoor pool, it was clean. Though the property is not in the best shape, a stay can be considered since the rates are low and the staff is friendly.
