Don¿t Confuse This Hotel with Waterpark for a Resort

The Holiday Inn Minneapolis NW¿Elk River doesn¿t promote itself as a major waterpark and resort, yet some travelers seem to have precisely this kind of expectation. The Holiday Inn is an affordable hotel (for both leisure and business travelers) that has a small, fun guests-only waterpark. Expecting a resort-like experience¿which seems to be the case for guests that have responded negatively to the Holiday Inn¿is a ticket to disappointment. Otherwise, most travelers have been very satisfied with the Holiday Inn, and nearly all¿even those that have had complaints about the hotel, service, or waterpark¿have raved about the on-site Mississippi Valley Grill & Bar. Located in Elk River, Minnesota, Holiday Inn Minneapolis NW¿Elk River is 44 miles from Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport, 24 miles from St. Cloud Regional Airport, and 35 miles from Anoka County Airport.

Super Fun Family Christmas Experience

My inlaws took our entire family (14 kids and 12 adults) to the Holiday Inn Wildwoods Waterpark for our Christmas gift and get-together. EVERY SINGLE PERSON that worked there was amazingly friendly and service oriented. Even the lifeguards were pleasant. The food was phenonemal, the restaurant staff not only accomidated our large party, but actually had FUN with the kids rather than acted as though we were an irritation. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable... All around, it was one of the nicest hotel experiences I have ever had... honestly
