Old Glass hotel
Review From: khedara, Jun 9, 2008
Room was old, the toilet exhaust fan not powerful enough. Some room lights not working, small private safe in the room is a good point. The glass building looks really old from outside, but inside from the lobby it's a nice view up looking at the escalator capsules, staff nice, ok, but we asked about the breakfast which we thought was included and had to ring reception few times to ask about it, which we were told they will get back to us and did not - that's disappointing. The shopping centre attached to the hotel building has very few shops opened, about two foot massage shops and one 24 hour grocery and few other offices that are no use for hotel guests, looks very empty. Not close to any metro station, had to get a bus, taxi or walk (Chinatown about 30min walk). Only one Indian café across the street which had the best tea and coffee, about 20p. No other cafes near the hotel. The building was previously called The Glass Hotel then The Concord and now Holiday Inn.
