Great for Families During Their Disney Adventure
Review From: NexTag Editorial Review, Jun 9, 2008
My husband, our two children (daughter 6, son 8), and I recently checked in to the Holiday Inn Anaheim for our five-day vacation. We had a great time, but I think that's partially because I did a bit of research up front. This is a very standard-issue Holiday Inn, which is a good thing. It's a good, clean hotel. But the rooms aren't big, so we paid extra for a three-room suite instead of a standard room. It had two queen beds and the reception desk was nice enough to give me a room that was close to the pool. The hotel itself is close to Disneyland -- just a 15-minute walk. But especially with two young kids and 90-degree summer heat, it's best to take the ART shuttle to and fro each day. There's a lot to do and see nearby - Downtown Disney is just 10 minutes away. There are also shops and restaurants galore. We also took a trip to Knotts Berry Farm one day, and that was a lot of fun for all of us. On our last night, we were all so tired after our busy four days that we found a restaurant that would deliver pizza to our room. We spread out some spare towels on the floor and had a pizza "picnic" while watching our big TV that night. It was a lot of fun, and we can't wait to visit the World of Disney again soon. We'll definitely stay at the Holiday Inn.
