Quiet Luxury Resort in the Midst of Vegas Action
Review From: NexTag Editorial Review, Jun 9, 2008
Situated right in the center of the
Vegas Strip, the Hilton Grand Vacations
Club at the Flamingo is in the midst of
all the action. The resort is located
next to the Flamingo Hotel and its
casino. While the location is in a busy
spot, guests at the resort will feel
like they're isolated in a peaceful
environment. Because there is no casino
on the premises, the resort stays
relatively quiet. It is the best of both
worlds as guests can emerge from the
tranquil surroundings at any time and
delve into the lively commotion of the
Strip.
The resort features 303 suites and
studios featuring King-size beds and
luxurious decor. Guest can relax in the
in-room spa tubs or enjoy the courtyard
views. Rooms include sofa beds, cable
television, and data ports. Only dial-up
Internet access is offered, which seems
antiquated for a hotel of this class.
The kitchens feature refrigerators,
microwaves, toasters, and coffeemakers.
In-room safes are available but for a fee.
The resort features a lush courtyard
with 3,000 palm trees and live
flamingos. The facilities include a
heated outdoor pool, a children's pool,
a spa, and a fitness center. A gift shop
and deli are also available. Guests also
have the option to go next door and
visit the Flamingo's swimming pools,
lagoons, and tennis courts.
Overall, the Hilton Grand Vacations Club
at the Flamingo is a great place to
unwind and rejuvenate before heading out
into the Vegas nightlife.
