I stayed here at the last minute due to cancelled flights and choose the Hilton chain because it normally is an upscale hotel. However, this property is pathetic. The entire public area is below 50 degrees F. All the workers in the lobby are wearing coats. The hall outside my room is even colder and the heat wasn't on when I got to my room. I asked a couple of the employees and this is not an unusual situation. Apparently, it is also very hot in the summers. Tonight I ate dinner in the hotel restaurant. +$40 for lukewarm soup, salad with no cracked pepper in the restaurant, and for what I am about 99% sure was instant mashed potatoes, and brown non-descript gravy on my filet?!! The waiter needs a shave, has a tie that hangs about 3 inches below his belt, and no sense of urgency. He seemed like a nice kid but he had no idea of what should be expected from a service, presentation, or quality standard. I'm honestly shocked. It really is Sizzler level quality at a 3-4 star price.
