Low-Priced Inn But Unfriendly Staff

I got a fantastic deal for the Hampton Inn St. Augustine Beach, so I decided to stay there on a vacation to Augustine Beach in Florida. A friend accompanied me on this trip and we had a great time at the beach. This inn is not a luxurious place, but it offers some basic amenities at a very reasonable price. Our room was basic; average in size and uncluttered. The sea-facing balcony was superb. Our bathroom had a Jacuzzi, but was small and poorly lit. We enjoyed swimming in the outdoor pool and spending the early morning hours in the gym and then heading off to the beach to watch the beautiful sunrise. The continental breakfast was average. The hotel staff wasn't very friendly or hospitable. Housekeeping would not bother tidying our room unless we placed a request for it. The only reason I recommend this inn is for the price.
