A little disappointed

We reserved a 'suite' at the Hampton, expecting to get 2 rooms and a common area with room to visit and a frig. What we got was a very dark room (the lights don't turn on in all the room when you enter, and switches had to be found for each). Another room was off to one side. It did have a TV, but no closet and not much space. Both rooms were very dark because they faced the pool area. No drapes were open. We had our granddaughters from Flin Flon, who had never been to Niagara or stayed overnight in a hotel. We were very disappointed. We paid for a suite and were there for one night. The bright light in the experience was the excellent desk staff who helped us find our way around the area.
